G-series Gaming Mice

I have searched forums and couldent find any similar problem.

While playing bf3 and only bf3(since about 2 weeks ago could be less), my g9 sometimes looses connection then after few seconds regains connection.

Could someone help me as to how i problem solve this.

Hello Drooler,

When the mouse looses connection do you get the noise as if you unplugged the mouse or does the mouse stops responding for a period of time?

I got the same problem with my Logitech mouse.  It also affects my Nostromo.

Any solutions would be helpful.

Yes.  I get the ding as if the a new USB connection is made.  The mouse drivers are activated and I can use my mouse again.

I have the same problem, the mouse stop working and after a few seconds the USB ding sounds and it starts to work again.

And only in BF3.

Having the same issue. This first started happening about 3 months ago and my mouse would disconnect and reconnect every once in a while... now it does this about 8 times an hour. it's pretty annoying, I now have a second mouse by my g9x while i play games because it's annoying to die and cause your team to lose games all because my mouse shuts off.

My G9X is doing the same thing in ACR.  I do get the sound when is reconnects.  Has there been a resolution to this?

I have the same problem....till a few days ago he was disconnecting and reconnecting...now he is not connecting at all and the led from the right side...the one near the + increase dpi button is flashing...and the pointer is not moving at all....

try it on another computer, mine did the same on any computer, it was clearly a short.

was a pain to do such a test as it was intermittent.

the fix is pretty ugly involving resoldering the usb cord after removing a section from where it enters the mouse.
