Hi there.
I just received my g9 mouse yesterday.
I pluged it in a usb port and the led signals light up, meanwhile Windows detects a new hardware that was the mouse.
So I chose the option to install the drivers, with the setpoint cd included on the package, and it didn't detected any drivers with the windows add hardware tool.
I installed setpoint 5.0 from the cd, and when I executed the program appears the message that no compatible devices were connected.
I went to the device manager and there were two G9 Laser Mouse listed on other devices with two yellow question marks.
The mouse is fine, I can see the red laser, the leds are working and it is recognized as a device by windows, only just it isn't recognized as a mice.
I already tried to change the name of the system file, i deleted it and reinstalled setpoint, but is not working.
My system is:
Asus P4S533
Pentium 4 2.8 GHz @ 3GHz
2 Gb Ram
ATI Radeon Powercolor X1600 Pro 256 Mb AGP
Windows XP SP3
Can someone plz post the fix!?
Regards,
Don Bolhone
EDIT: SOLVED!!!
Uninstaled SP3 and then the plug and play worked and so did SetPoint. I believe there is a imcopatible match between SP3 and G9.
