When using my g9 to turn via right click in world of warcraft and other programs, the mouse behaves like I double click it instead of the single click I am actually applying. I tested to see if it was a mouse specific or software specific problem by swapping the mouse out with an older mx1000 and an MX revolution, also a wired acer mouse, and none of them have the same issue, so im sadly thinking that there is something going on without the mouse.
I can be holding the button down and it acts like it loses the click and clicks again. Is there anything I can do about this?

Try it on another PC to make sure it is the mouse that is the problem (not your PC for some reason). If the problem is the same on the other PC, get the mouse replaced or fix it yourself.
Less than 30 days since purchase, you need to exchange it where you got it.
After 30 days, you would be covered under the 3 or 5 year warranty from Logitech.
See here for RMA info. You could also e-mail Customer Support if you need help with the warranty procedure.
Here's some options if you want to repair it (voids any remaining warranty):
1. You may be able to bend the metal spring back into a shape that will work. See these instructions.
2. Any standard Omron D2F series or compatible microswitch can be used if you want to do some soldering. Digikey.com and Newark.com sell them, or you can salvage a less-worn microswitch from another dead mouse. See this thread for more info.
3. After you get it fixed, don't press hard on the buttons (it wears them out faster).

Same here, also noticed in World of Warcraft and other uses.
The game renders almost unplayable when you cannot be sure on how many clicks yo make!
And, the number of right clicks performed with one right button press varyes between one and four.
I have tested it up to getting exausted on ingame vendors. I am not able to know what amounts of an item I will buy.

I too am having the same problem. It started happening a couple days ago and its been bugging me since. I don't have the packaging anymore, but I do have the reciept. Anyway the place I bought it from will honor this warranty?
