I've read through numerous threads posted by other forum members with the same problem. Unfortunately they failed to respond to tech support personnel replies, so I couldn't learn anything useful! >< Setpoint will not detect my G9X. I am running the latest version of Setpoint (6.32), I've tried the smart installer and the 64bit installer with no luck. I've tried plugging the mouse into every USB port on my computer and I still encounter the problem. Please help!

Hi GusJake,
You will have to open the gaming Setpoint, regular setpoint doesn't detect the G9x.
If you check in your start menu in the Logitech folder, you should see it there.

Hey ebona,
Thanks for the reply. In my start menu's Logitech folder there are three subfolders: "G9X, G500 and G700 Gaming Mice", "Mouse and Keyboard", and "Unifying." Under the "G9X, G500 and G700 Gaming Mice" folder I have two options: "Device Settings" and "Macro Editor." "Mouse and Keyboard" takes me to a "SetPoint Settings" window that has no options for devices. When I click on "Device Settings" it takes me to SetPoint and tells me, "SetPoint did not detect any supported devices, please check your connection." I'm not sure what you mean when you say I need to use a special "gaming" version of SetPoint instead of the regular one. I don't see that as an option for download from Logitech's page, and I'm pretty sure it's not on my computer.

If you go into the "G9X, G500 and G700 Gaming Mice" folder and open device settings, this is what I was talking about. That's odd that it wouldn't be detecting the mouse. Do you have another computer you could test it on?
You could also try uninstalling Setpoint and installing Setpoint 6.30 from here:

I just finished uninstalling v6.32 and installing v6.30 using the link you posted in your reply. Still no dice! It gives me the same error about not detecting any devices, and I don't have another computer to test the mouse on.

Ok, strangest thing: as I mentioned in my previous post, absolutely nothing changed when I reverted back to v6.30 and restarted my computer. Just for grins and giggles I decided to reboot again, and now the problem is solved! I have no idea what fixed it, but SetPoint now detects my mouse and I can configure it.

UPDATE: I successfully updated from v6.30 to v6.32 with no problems or loss of functionality. It seems that the problem has fully resolved itself. Thanks for the help! Not sure what did it, but I'm extremely happy with the performance of this mouse!

P.S. If you own this mouse and run Windows 7, download the "Scroll App" from Logitech's support site. It rocks! When you disengage the incremental ratcheting function of the scroll wheel, it glides through web pages as smoothly as an iPhone!

I am having the exact same issue as the OP. I have unistalled setpoint 6.32 and reinstalled twice. I have uninstalled 6.32 and reverted to 6.30 and again I get the same message that Setpoint did not detect any supported connections. I rebooted two more times after installing 6.30 like OP, but still no luck. So I let the logitech software upgrade to 6.32 again and mouse is still undetected. The mouse is seen as Logitech HID-compliatnt G9x Laser Mouse Call of Duty: MW3 in device manager. I have installed and run setpoint as administrator, still not working. Any other suggestions?

I am having the same problems as OP as well. i have also tried disconnecting, reconnecting, uninstalling 6.32, installing 6.30, updating and restarting. Seems to be a pretty popular problem. Would appreciate some help.
