Hello everyone,
I have had my G9x for quite awhile and never had any issues.
The right button will click or pull up a menu just fine, but when I need to click and hold (for example to turn in an MMO),
it will not hold. I can see the cursor flash when I click, but it will respond as if I released the button.
I have used a different mouse and it responds as normal on my OS and in game.
My main question to the crew at Logitech, is there a cleaning/maintanence/fix that I can do? I believe I am out of my warranty, but alas I still want to try and salvage my mouse (otherwise, it is fully functional)!
Thanks!

Hello Humphrey64,
You could try canned compressed air to clean the contacts. I also suggest trying your mouse on a different computer to see if the issue follows the mouse. The G9X Laser Gaming mouse has a 3-year limited hardware warranty. You may want to contact Logitech Customer Care for your region to have them determine the warranty status of your mouse
Best Regards,

Also having this problem (among others). First it was just the left, but now both buttons are doing it. It's as if they're not designed properly and will click without making contact, completing the circuit. Since I'm aware opening the mouse (screwdriver in hand) voids a warranty, doing so can't be advised, but I'm not going to mail this thing somewhere and wait 8-12 weeks for someone to say 'worked fine for us' while I go without a mouse. So, buying a new one just means saying 'the hell with it' and opening it anyway.
What I'd like is a bit of information as to the issue here. Since I'm not the only one having this problem, it's clear it needs to be addressed. Yes, I've tried it on two computers and had problems both times, but that's only because I've been lucky to have had two - others aren't. Then there's the movement (which I can start another thread about later if it keeps up): at times as I slide the mouse to turn my view in a 3D environment (gaming program) the view will instantly revert BACK to the previous direction. So, imagine moving forward along a ridgeline moving the mouse to the left and turning likewise in the game, then immediately flipping back right and - because you weren't prepared for it - running off the cliff. Frustrating isn't the word, especially when it keeps happening. I thought it was with the game itself, but I'm now thinking there are more problems plaguing the G9x series than anyone wants to admit.
Let's get the button issue dealt with first, though. If there's a simple solution Logitech is willing to supply, with or without a mea culpa, I'll use it assuming it works - and permanantly. I'm thinking the turning thing is likely to be more electronic than mechanic, though, so I'm not holding my breath for 'new drivers.'

I am facing the same issue with my left mouse button on my G9x. The same problem that make it difficult to select a passage of text without having the hold selection coming off halfway through. Make it seems as if the mouse has a mind of it's own.
Communication with email support was a nightmare though, am still waiting for their response after almost 10 days.
