Re: LGS 8.20 is now available for your G300 and G400 mice

Hello everybody

Today I got the new G400 mouse, the old ont was mx518 with SetPoint software... After connecting the new g400 I found out that I need a new software - Logitech Gaming Software. After uninstalling setpoint and installing this new software I found out that there is no any "pointer speed" settings within this software and I cant transfer settings from setpoint software to this new one to retain and keep my old settings which inlcudes pointer speed and dpi settings. After all I changed the DPI in this new software to 1600 as I used before and then I found out that the feeling in my game is completely diffrent, the mouse sensitivity is about x4 high than it was before. How can I transfer the settings from setpoint icluding pointer speed to this new software so that the sensitivity in my game should be the same as it was with logitech setpoint?

Aye, that's the unanswered question, isn't it?

FYI, I cannot confirm or deny any specific software plans at this point, but I would like to let everyone know that we are aware and reading all of this feedback, and the feedback is not being ignored.

FunkyJunky - What game(s) are you seeing this issue with? BF3 for me, for example, had a super-overly-twitchy mouse behavior for me... I really had to turn down the in-engine settings.

Gendou - I shouldn't admit to this, but I have that image saved on my desktop.

Is the gaming software for the G400 identical to the G500? I cant find any pictures showing this software for the G400 too. It seems the G400 has this other kind of "grey" tool? Do both have the same options for macros, or has the G500 software something more?

@ CharlesB

My G700 is "super twitchy" in TF2 (which means all HL2 overlays), CoH and most games I tried with it.

Would be good if Logitech could fix the software for the G700...

Re: LGS 8.20 is now available for your G300 and G400 mice

GDavidF- Hrm, I'm not seeing that. What DPIs are you running those games at? Also, what are your ingame settings?

I'm using 800 and raw mouse input enabled in TF2. The other settings are speed in the middle @ 3 and acceleration @ 0, but IIRC, in Source engine games, enabling raw input bypasses those values. So, what DPI are you using?

Re: LGS 8.20 is now available for your G300 and G400 mice

Hi CharlesB,

I uninstalled Setpoint from my Revodrive as soon as I'd set up the G700 so only have basic settings onboard.

When possible, I'll have a look at the settings and try following your example.

Many thanks,

Regards,

David
