Left and Right Scroll do not work

Windows 7-64

The left and right scroll functions on my G700 mouse do not work, unless I run Setpoint first.

There appears to be a bug in the current version of Setpoint, that prevents it from running at system start.

Re: Left and Right Scroll do not work

Hi DavidSachs,

Please make sure that Setpoint is set to start with Windows, by following the steps listed below.

- Start Menu > Type msconfig in the search box and press Enter

- Click the Startup tab

- Look for Setpoint in the list and check the box beside it

- Click Apply

- Select the Boot tab, and check the Make all boot settings permanent box

- Click OK

- Restart your PC when prompted

If the issue continues, please try uninstalling your current version of Setpoint and install Setpoint 6.20 (32-bit/64-bit) in clean boot mode.

I hope this helps!

Re: Left and Right Scroll do not work

Reinstalling SETPOINT did solve the problem, but later on something deleted the starup entry for it and I had to do the install again.

The only significant installation around the proper time was the latest version of the Logitech KEYBOARD software.

Re: Left and Right Scroll do not work

DavidSachs, thank you. I was wondering why the G930 software and SetPoint stopped starting with windows - it's because I installed Gaming software version 8. It strangely seems to remove some applications from the startup, also including Google applications (namely Google Talk and Google Desktop, but I'm guessing other stuff as well).

Kudos to you and I'll do my best to bring this to the right people's attention. (my best ain't much, though)

If you installed the G-series keyboard software (7.0 or 8.0), there seems to be a bug in that where if you uninstall, it removes all items from the startup. Oops...

Re: Left and Right Scroll do not work

The very latest Logitech Keyboard software update fixes the bad code that deleted the startup for the mouse software.
