Battery in G700 is heavily used - it works for 15-17 hours with full charge. One more thing: there is no stand by mode for G700 - so it consumes relatively much energy even when not used. Turn it off for the night.

My G700 came with 1 Sanyo Eneloop 3UTGA battery (white), which also required recharging at least once a day. I didn't have a charger and wanted one...I found one that came with 4 more of the same batteries. I made this purchase, but also bought a 4-pack of the Eneloop 3UWX batteries (black), which are higher capacity.
With 9 batteries in total I'm all set. I use all 4 black ones & recharge, use 4 white ones & recharge...etc. I laid out less than $40 in total and always have 4-5 batteries fully charged. This works out nicely.
I have the mouse set to Normal gaming and the report rate to 500.
