Hi, first I just want to say I absolutely love this mouse! It's great, well at least it used to be...

Just some days ago the middle button stopped "clicking". By that I mean there's no click when pressing it down. The button still "works" though, but you can't feel you're pressing it.
It's like a touchpad actually.

The button does what it's supposed to when pressing it hard enough

This thing really annoys me. Is there anything I can do do fix this, or do I have to send it back to where I ordered it and waste even more money?

P.S. If anyone's wondering, I have been treating the mouse good. I wouldn't want to break such an expensive and great mouse.

Judging by your email, you're located in Sweden. I'd just call or email support and see what they can do for you.

I have exactly the same problem and its really annoying since the mouse is only 3 weeks old. This morning when I wanted to press the middle button it did not do the clicking sound and feel, although it still works when pressed hard. Its even stranger since i did not drop or anyhow else abused the mouse. First I thought its a software issue or something with the free flying wheel switch but  I cant seem to be able to fix it anyhow..

Its annoying how logitech does the coolest things but they (from my experience) so often dont work the way they are suppose to...

Simple

Set

Middle Button = Middle Button

Left Scroll = Middle Button

Right Scroll = Middle Button

When you press (and hold) the middle button most everyone will nudge it a little to the left or right as you are maneuvering the rodent around.  The system gets confused and just gives up.  The designers did not consider the middle press and hold requirements of some users.

There's a clear plastic cover over the mouse in the box. Anytime you take the mouse anywhere, use this cover over the mouse, and maybe it'll help prevent the middle click button from going bad. (also applies to G500, etc...)

Before by previous post I've had 3 mouses that ended up with this middle click issue.

Since then I've been using the plastic cover on the mouse every time I take the mouse somewhere, and so far haven't had the middle click issue on this mouse.

So maybe it's helping?

Same issue for me

I'm not sure I understand RyN since I use left and right scroll click for other purposes

I openned the mouse and tried to torture the middle click button without succes ...

Well the middle-click feel/sound broke again (today actually), even though I've been using the plastic cover over the mouse every-time I take the mouse anywhere. Time to check out the warranty again.
