Hello, I'm having an issue with my brand new Logitech G9 Laser mouse. As soon as I got home I plugged it in, installed the software, and started playing an FPS. I soon decided to try some of the weights included so I slid out the weight tray, put in two 7G weights and two 4G weights and slid the tray back in smoothly. After playing a bit more I decided I'd go a bit heavier but I cannot take the weight tray out now, I pushed on it to release it and nothing happens.
Please respond soon!

Yipes, I havent heard of that.
Honestly, I'd give the mouse a couple of gentle love taps, and see if then the press-release mechanism gets loose. If not, then you should contact customer support.

I just went with the easy option and ran by Best Buy to get a replacement. The new one works great, dunno how it happened last time.
Thanks for responding, though ![]()

That happened to me the first time I brought the mouse home, too. If it happens again, what you need to do is get something hard and narrow (but made out of plastic) and try to gently pry it open after you push it to eject it. Something like a guitar pick is perfect.
This issue, in my case, was caused by an imperfection in the rubber moulding that holds the weights. If you were to hold the weight tin so that the exterior part was at the bottom, it was the bottom right slot. If I were to push the weight in straight down, a small, errant flap of rubber would cause the back edge to protrude, causing the entire tin to get stuck inside. So, what you need to do is check to see if all the weights are all the way down, so that their tops are flush. If one is not, note which side is raised. Pull that one back out and insert it again, but this time, tilt the weight and slide that side in first. This will cause that little rubber nub to get pushed inwards instead of down, which will allow the weight to sit properly.
I hope that helps!

I had this problem when i first put weights in. What I did to fix this problem is I took a credit card or anything like it. Then i stuck the tip of the card in the top crack on the tray and angled the card so i could pull the tray out. then when i got it out i just pushed all the weights in almost as hard as i could and now it works fine i hope this helps someone
