Same here software not detecting the mouse. Device Manager indicates 2 things:
That there is a mouse that is "HID-Comppliant mouse" using microsoft drivers from 2006
Also Other devices / Unknown Device properties state "root\LogiGamePanelVirtualBus"
I can only assume the two are related. My G400 functions fine stock with no additional software.. but i need the software to remap keys for what i want to do. I've tried everything suggested in this forum but no luck, still not detecting the mouse. Will try a few other options and see if i have any results. Any additional Help from Logitech would be greatly appreciated.

For me the same its realy annoying,
did install a logitech driver.... (Logitech Gaming Virtual Mouse)
Some more help or a driver link to install
