I want substantially better macro support than what I can do with SetPoint... I can't even get it to repeat-perform a command while I hold down a button. Ugh.

it ain't gonna happen imo... I'm just hopin' logitech releases a revamped g700 w/ a few tweaks performance wise that also uses LGS. Logitech already stated on here that LGS will not be ported over to support mices that previously used setpoint. Sounds like their plans are to release a new mice that uses it.
