im quickly losing respect and loyalty of logitech products...they dont hear out their fans, they dont fix problems they should or give us functionality everyone wants, and when we want to speak up they make sure we cant even do that.
i have nothing but logitech products. ive bought 2 driving force pros, 3 joysticks, 4 mice, a keyboard, 2 sound systems, and probably some other things too. logitech doesnt like to address their users and while i like the g700, theres some problems that shouldnt be there. then i look at companies like rat and razer and they actually listen to their customers...im thinking of just switching over to razer.
chances are this petition will be swept under the rug cuz they can care less....i knew i shoulda gotten the epic naga instead...

I really wanna LGS support for G700.
Setpoint is terrible and outdated software.

I'm starting to feel the same way. I really wish they would treat the G700 like the amazing piece of hardware that it is.
Instead, I get the feeling that the G700 (and G700 users by extension) will be wished into the cornfield.
In the end, we'll all be urged to buy the successor to the G700. A year ago, it would have been a given that Logitech would get my money. Now, I'm not so sure - and given my long history of buying their products, that makes me sad.

Naga has faulty sensor, 9 buttons max usable, now rat 7 mmo looks not bad, but still it **bleep** since has no onboard memory, which means almost any game can block it.

I would think this is something Logitech has been working on since day one since they have released other mices incrementally.
What is the truth?
Is this a petition because Logitech has no intention to make LGS for G700 unless many people demand it?

I'm planning on replacing my G5 mouse with a G700. I was surprised that it's still SetPoint instead of LGS

Apart from having duplicated tasks running in the background (LGS for the G19 keyboard and SetPoint for the G700 mouse) the SetPoint software introduces a massive lag upon startup initialising network services (2 to 3 minutes).
Please, can you devs make this "merger" happen?

The fact that both the G300 and G400 (both supported by LGS) has "Easy-to-use configuration software" on their feature list and the G700 does not says it all.
Having to use an ancient version of SetPoint is frustrating, but what really irks me is the complete lack of information from Logitech. If it is not possible to or you for some other reason won't add support for the G700 in LGS then let us know. Logitech, please do yourselves a favor and show your customers some respect.
