I guess it is possible they are putting their efforts into LGS 9.0 or a completely new application to provide support for their devices in Windows 8. LGS should run just fine in Win 8, but perhaps they are developing a more touch friendly version of it.

Anyway, just a thought.

I too LOVE the G700.  As the flagship mouse product, it should have the best software support available.

I got mine a couple of months ago to replace an old MX600 that I used for over a decade with no problems.  Logitech makes great mice, but this LGS issue is alarming...

I used Setpoint on the MX600, and currently on the G700 - I've never seen LGS.  I'll check the website, but can someone explain what LGS is and why it is better?

One thing is certain...I have pretty much given up on recording macros thru Setpoint.  Seems that AHK or some other macro proggy is much easier.

Looks like they just going to replace G700 this atum with LGS support and etc.

IMHO if we want normal macro editor with semi bot functions like you can create in a4tech mouse editor we have to order it ourselfs. It's possible to write such stuff on AHK or AutoIT, maybe even load settings as long with macros into the mouse. It's possible with C/C++ but it won't be $100 deal. I'm ready to contribute, but we need lot's of people to make it affordable for everyone, and don't tell me it's rediculous to pay extra when you spend 100 on a mouse, i know, but Logi doesn't seem to give a f/k on us.

Up people should know that they're not only one forgotten by logitech
