Hi,
I have a G500 and I use Setpoint.
Sensitivity is in the range 0-10, but what's the real value behind these settings ?
For example, in Windows sensitivity is in the range 1-11, with the following values:
1/11 = 0.03125
2/11 = 0.0625
3/11 = 0.25
4/11 = 0.5
5/11 = 0.75
6/11 = 1.0
7/11 = 1.5
8/11 = 2.0
9/11 = 2.5
10/11 = 3.0
11/11 = 3.5
The above means that, for example, at sensitivity 6, 1 CPI reported by the mouse is logged as 1 movement by the OS.
What are the real values behind Setpoint values 0-11 ?
MaX.

This is a User to User Forum. Logitech employees do respond sometimes, but you may get better results trying to call or email them.

For the gaming mice, leave sensitivity at the middle value, which is 1:1, and put acceleration at 0 (that's my preference). Change the speed of the mouse's tracking by adjusting the DPI. We're evaluating removing this for the Gaming mice as they have adjustable DPI (which is more accurate than playing with sensitivity values).

Oh lets get a slider for the g400 please. Problem is 200 dpi + lowest setting in game is too fast.
The windows slider dosen't seem to work properly with the mouse. Changes to the slider have an effect on the desktop, but then in game its exactly the same - way too fast.
Didn't have this problem with the mx518 on setpoint.
Is there an older version of the logitech gaming software with a slider I could try?

Panda86 - What game are you using it with? 200DPI on my G400 is a snail's crawl on my system. Also, do you have game specific speed profiles set up? That could affect things as well.
