 When you do this :

 

Make sure you do not have other mouse controlling software installed.

Do you see the G700 here:

Launch SetPoint (Start > Programs > Logitech > G9x, G500, and G700 Gaming Mice > Device Settings).

If not please do the following:

You must be logged on as an administrator to perform these steps.

1.Open Device Manager by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, and then clicking Device Manager.‌  If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

2.In Device Manager, locate the device you want to update, and then double-click the device name.

3.Click the Driver tab.(Driver Provider should show Logitech)

4.Click update driver

5.Choose Browse my computer

6.Choose let me pick from  list

7.Choose the Logitech driver

At this point you may be asked to reboot the system .

 

What choices do you see for Drivers to pick from ?

i can choose from Hid-device, HID, mouse and Logitech HID-compliant Cordless Mouse.

now i've selected the last one

 Does (Start > Programs > Logitech > G9x, G500, and G700 Gaming Mice > Device Settings) now detect your G700 ?

i already had the logitech driver selected, Setpoint won't detect it.

 Please remove SetPoint and reinstall using clean boot mode : http://logitech-en-amr.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/228/~/booting-clean-in-windows-7,-vista,...

Hello Cintech,

 

i already tried to reinstall it with a clean boot twice, unfortunately it didn't help.

 

this is what i've tried so far:

-run as administrator(also checked in compatability)

-reinstall with a clean boot

-make a new user with admin rights and reinstall it with a clean boot

 

ps. my pc is only 1 month old so i don't think it's a problem with windows installer

  This is seeming like a permissions issue , please try temporarily turning off UAC and move the USB receiver to a different USB port , not a blue one . If this does not resolve your problem, please contact Logitech Customer Care for your region

Hello Cintech

 

nothing seems to work, do I have to reinstall it after disabling UAC? also i already contacted the Customer Care in the Netherlands but they couldn't help me either, since they only reply untill 18:00(it's now 19:52 here) i'm asking for help here.

Same problem here...none of the specialist's advices didn't work for me...dead end.

 Please contact Logitech Customer Care for your region as they may be able to gather details that will determine the cause of your G700 not being detected in SetPoint .
