This is a issue with the mouse itself, the piece that is bugging you with the double clicks is the Omron switch which is made in CHINA. It's 2 little black boxes inside your mouse that when the cover is taken off shows a leaf spring which is worn. It shouldn't in such a short timeframe ( mine being 2 months old ) but it really is, there are many sites with fixes to this issue for those who's mouse is no longer warranted.

Again only use this if you can not get your mouse replaced, it's a bad material probably which is used as the spring mechanism in the switch, i can't figure out why they havent found a better solution for this because this one is wearing out way to early. To many people have this problem, and some are so sick of it that they repair their own mice themselfs.

Mine is still ( this being the 3rd one ) still in Warranty so i am getting it replaced but with a different brand since i have no interest in getting to this same problem few months later. Stop Posting here "My mouse double clicks" because it doesn't get you anywhere, it's the same thread so many people post so please just don't post it and either fix it yourselfs if you feel like you can or get it replaced if it's in warranty..
