Ofc theres no answer from Logitech, do you think that releasing a fix that removes angle snapping/prediction for the older g400 is profitable? no one would buy the new one.. sad truth..

I think, there is some unofficial versions of g400. I've bought g400 with "logitech" logo on stickers, but PID was LZ13323. I've just googled it, and found, that some people also have this PID number. I'm not sure wether i have angle snapping or not, but it seems to be no angle snapping in my g400. I think, i should try to disassemble my mouse and take a look on sensor. It should be avago 3095 as far as i know. But i have a feeling, i will not find avago's sensor in my mouse.

I think Logitech should release firmware versions which can enable\disable prediction on g400, like razer done it for deathadder mice.
I don't like prediction. And what can i do? lol

The initial mouse was designed with a control unit not capable of being flashed over usb.

How they flash it? I think this is bad for old g400 users, discrimination ![]()

So basically just a flat out horrible design? It's 2012 and we're still using tech that doesn't even have standard, common sense functions?
Then there should be a free exchange program. This is absolutely ridiculous.

I'm not sure where this PID fits into the numbering format either: LZ04PMQ8
But it has prediction/accel/weirdness, for sure ![]()
Also, can we get a listing of how the numbering format works? So we don't have to keep playing the guessing game, and posting here for every single weird PID we get...
Thanks ![]()

I just bought mine, so i would assume by this point in time most of the mice are the newer versions without angle snapping, but i would just like to have it in writing as my PID is weird.
1151LZ03FUD8
My old one which i purchased last year, had a PID of LZ12323, and as I understand, the anglesnapping free ones started on LZ13333. But I'm not sure of mine since it has a PID that doesnt follow the same pattern. It definitely feels different though.
