hi.
today i bought the g500 mouse. ive been very happy until it stopped working.
the only thing i wanted to do is to change the wheel button to doubleclick.
after clicking ok the cursor was frozen.
i restarted the pc and then my mouse was broken.
the cursor jumps instead of sliding.
i cannot klick anything.
the lights (speed indicator) are off.
is there anything i can fix or do i have to change it at my reseller?
thx for every answer!

Hello Bumms,
If possible, please try your G500 on a different computer no need to install the software for testing. I'm concerned that the lights are not working. If the issue follows the mouse, this would indicate a hardware failure.

its not about the computer, the behaviour doesnt change at other pcs.
do i have to reinstall the software?
i used setpoin 6.32 which i had installed long before for my g5 mouse.
is the download for the g500 another version, specially for this mouse?
ill try to reinstall the whole windows and drivers.
hope it will work to setup the buttons.
ive changed the mouse second time at my reseller.
another change would be very nasty.

Hello Bumms,
Since the G500 has on board memory, It possible that an issue with a stored profile would follow the mouse to a different computer. The G500 is customized in: Launch SetPoint (Start > Programs > Logitech > Gaming Mouse > Device Settings).
For more information on customizing your G500 please see: http://logitech-en-amr.custhelp.com/app/answers/de
