so ive been using the g700 for a while and overall i like it, but the battery life is awful even at low sample rates, unfortunately the usb cable is stiff as hell and is nothing like any other cable ive had and certainly not NEARLY as good as my g500s...can this usb cable fit? or is there another one that works thats loose enough so that my mouse isnt so resistant in moving?

Honestly, any cable that's a full USB spec'd USB micro cable will work. I actually use a cable that came with my Kindle on my G700.

FYI, the battery is short because the mouse basically uses the absolute minimum of battery saving AND is sending a ton of wireless data. Also, the cable that's included with the G700 is heavier duty because our internal standards are higher than the standard USB specs and we wanted to shield the cable to meet our internal specs. Informally, if it's a proper USB micro cable that fits into the keying on the mouse, it should work.
