Does the Cordless MediaBoard Pro keyboard works on a PC?

Hi,

Does anyone know if this keyboard works with a PC?

I can't find any drivers on the logitech website...

It can work on a PC, but not all of the functionality of a Windows keyboard will be there (There is no Windows key, for example). I'd recommend waiting until the diNovo Mini is released or get a diNovo Edge. These are bluetooth keyboards that also come with a USB dongle.

In my bluetooth environment the mediaboard is listed but the connection fails. My bluetooth software asks after a password. Do you have a solution?

Windows XP. But in the meantime I solved the problem. I changed to another bluetooth stick and now the keyboard works fine. I will use a key remapper to customize it.

Thanks for paying attention to my problem.

Re: Does the Cordless MediaBoard Pro keyboard works on a PC?

Charles,
I am having the same issue.
Windows XP
BlueTooth Software is BlueSoleil 1.6
Tried multiple dongles.
Software detects and IDs keyboard.  The pairing automatically puts in a passkey.  But it never connects with device...it also fails.
Please advise, I am evaluating to purchase many more for work.
Thanks, MIKE

Re: Does the Cordless MediaBoard Pro keyboard works on a PC?

Hi, with my first stick (software blue soleil, too) I did not know exactly what to do. There was this password on the screen - a number - but what I had to do then I did not find out. I tried it again with another stick and another software (Anycom) and it worked. There was also a password on the screen. I typed the same number on my logitech keyboard, with each typing the corresponding figure on the screen was substituted by a star, and when the last figure dissapeared the board was connected instantly. The other day I tried it with my first stick again and then I got it right. The problem in this case is that you can not see that anything is happening. The number on the screen remains unchanged. But the procedure is nearly the same. When the password shows on the screen you must type the same number on your keyboard. But after that it is not connected instantly. You must first press enter on the logitech board. That worked.

Let me know if I could help you. I hope my English is not that bad.
