Hi, first time here and have a question if someone could be so kind as to answer a couple of questions. I just purchased a headset off of E-BAY and bought them to use with Socom 3 Navy Seals. I need to know if the headsets can be used in a single game for giving commands or are they used just for online gaming with Socom 3, when playing single game the Headset Icon shows up but no sound through the headset, do I need to do changes to the settings, I went to headset and increased volume but nothing, of did I get a bum set of headgear.
thanks all.

dear max,
i also am here for the first time. looking for that cutting edge headset for socom c.a. anyway i read your post, the a.i. on socom doesnt always work with the headset commands. its not your settings its the game. your lucky if you can get the guys to "fire at will" let alone "overwatch"
play socom on line thats the main plus of using the mic.
maybe you can help me or anyone . im looking for a cordless usb headset for the ps2 or a computer version that is compatable with ps2.
want to spend between 50-150. anyone know any links to cool sites that may offer a celection?
QUICK SNIPED

Well, I've only played the first two SOCOM games, and it's been a while, but if my memory serves me right, I think the Circle button would pull up the voice command list in single player, in which you could issue commands like "Bravo team, cover this position" via voice. I think it's outlined in the manual... have you had a chance to check there?
