Yep, will work. You will most likely not get the extra features such as gated shifter or clutch functionality, though.

True i know of no games that will support the H-gate shifter or the clutch. So you will have to have it in the sequential shift mode.

Wouldnt even GT4 have the gated shifting? are there absolutely no games that would support the clutch or atleast gated shifting in a PS2? Because thats the main idea behind me about to spend such a high amount to get the G25.

GT4 was created before the G25 was announced, so there was no way they could have incorporated support for this product. GT5 will support full H-gate functionality.

Just need to clarify one more thing, assuming a new driving game is made for PS2, would this enable the usage of all the G25's capabilities?

If the game developer programs in support, then yeah, there is no other technical limitation that I'm aware of. BUT, I'm personally not aware of any upcoming PS2 games with H-Gate shifter support
