Grrrr I love this gamepad but I have the exact some problem

I have tried all of the above with no success.  I purchased another unit and it worked for one week (long enough for me to throw the box away) and the same problem reoccured.  Now I have two units, bought months apart from different retailers, with the exact same issue.  HELP!

Have you tried changing the batteries? Are there any other wireless devices that pay cause interference with your gamepad?

yes, changed batteries many times, but no success.

the problem is not intermittent so i don't think its a phone or other device interfering.  but perhaps my wifi network could cause interference?  what other devices would be in the same frequency space as the logitech controller?

Can you test the Rumblepad on another computer to confirm if it is a hardware problem with the gamepad? BTW, the Cordless Rumblepad 2 uses the 2.4 Ghz band.

THE ANSWER TO ALL YOUR PROBLEMS:

Make sure you have new batteries inserted.

Remove one battery.

Hold buttons 5 and 7 down WHILE re-inserting battery.

All done!

OMG U R like teh AWSOME!

This totally worked for me. I must say, on the Logitech Troubleshooting pages, it says hold down 6 and 8 instead which didn't work. I think that Logitech should update that page or add extra notes to try your method.
