My Dual Action game pad is not working with windows vista(32bit Premium). When i plug it in its unable to recognize the device. i have to press mode to light up the led light, but vista recognizes it as an unknown device and the light turns off. Thank you

Re: Logitech Dual Action Game Pad and Windows Vista

Have you tried to install the driver package / gaming software? Vista might not recodnise it before the drivers are installed.

Uninstall the current version of LGS that you have installed and try downloading LGS from this link.

Re: Logitech Dual Action Game Pad and Windows Vista

If you check the device manager, what devices do you see listed as "Unknown device" or have a yellow exclamation mark next to them?

Re: Logitech Dual Action Game Pad and Windows Vista

I have exactly the same problem. I have uninstalled the software and uninstalled the unknown device which is showing in device manager(my gamepad). I d/l the latest vista software from logitech installed it thwn when i plug in the gamepad it just says unknown device. I sometimes get the computer to recog the device, but it justs gives the info in device man properties that the device driver was unable to start contact your device manufacturer. The dual pad graphic does indeed have an exclamation mark next to it, but i rarely get this up on device man. I want to use my gamepad, I am so sick of using keyboard, and why does the box it came in say vista compatible when it clearly is not
