Cool, mate, i'm glad I could help.
I hope Logitech can spread info about such problems on FAQs. Because it's a shame they get the blame, and people return stuff to shops, while it's actually not the manufacturer's fault.

Hi,
Have you tried updating Vista ? On my computer it doesn't seem to do that USB detection problem anymore since the last few updates. But if you still want to uninstall SP1, here it is:

From the control panel, click "Programs," then, in the ensuing window under "Programs and Features," click "Uninstall a program."
Click "View installed updates," select "Service Pack for Microsoft Windows (KB936330)," and click "Uninstall."

I Have the same issue but sp1 is intigrated into my install of windows. Does anyone know how to get around it?
