I searched and read what liitle info there is about the compatibility between these games, to no avail.

I am confused that the software come with a profile for this game, but am unableto use it in game.

I also tried re-mapping keystrokes manually to the keys mapped in game.

Bioshock refuses to recognize the controller.

I am a fairly novice Windows user, but am not unfamiliar with them.

any Help out there?

Inside the profiler, have you set the profile to "persistent profile" ? 

Options>Global Profiler Settings>Apply Persistent Profile

Try that and see if that makes it work in the game.

thanks for the solution, unfortunately it did not help.  Is anyone else able to get the controller to work with Bioshock?

Is it working everywhere else other than BioShock? 

Another thing you could try is another profiler . . . . . . x-padder
