Re: Extreme 3d Pro Joystick / USB 350 Headset Issues.

Ok, I will add to this list of same problem blah blah blah.  I did a ticket from tech support and got the same routine.  Again NOTHING WORKS so don't waste your time trying.  Either take the wheel back or wait until Logitech fixes it.

To help with the fix I have,

Dell XPS 600 Pentium D
Duel 7600 GTX gforce cards
Sound blaster Audigy 2 ZS with the lastest drivers. ver 5.12.4.1196
WIndows XP Media SP2 with all updates from windows
Logitech Headset, sidewinder joystick and G25 Wheel.

don't know anymore info hope that helps

Hello!

I have had the G25 about 4/5 months now and suddenly after a re-format whenever i plug my G25 in the sound becomes ultra distorted - this is on inbuilt sound - 3.5mm jack - (asus m2n-sli)  - The criteria for me is:

clear sound when rebooted without G25 plugged in
sound goes when g25 is plugged in and doesnt go until rebooted.
system restore fixed it once - but profiler alwasy picked it up as a wheel , a blue random wheel. and then broke.

My specs are as follows

m2n-sli = motherboard
nvidia gefoce 7600 GS = graphics card
600 w = power supply
250gb hard drive sata +
20 gb ide    =  hardrives
3 gigs of ram
amd athalon 3800+ dual core

tried all that has been said on the forum.
Hope someone can help me here many thanks :smileywink:

It does not need to be expensive..

I am trying this tomoz....

Re: Extreme 3d Pro Joystick / USB 350 Headset Issues.

Hi,

same problem here...

Asus M2M32-SLI, BeQuiet 450W, G25, Dlink-DBT122, Sony-Ericson BT-Headset.

The moment I connect my G25 the sound gets disturbed.
If I conncet the DBT122 to my Monitor's USB-HUB (NEC), no distortion (guess it's an active usb-hub?), but this one looses the connetion every 2-3 Minutes...

cheers,
Uwe

Hi there

I'm having the same problems. I can listen fine using my 3.5mm headphones or normal PC speakers however as soon as I plug in my USB Mic and headphones they instantly distort if the G25 is in as well. I only have 4 USB's being used out of 8 on my PC so it's not an overloading issue.

My Headphones are C-media generic kit but the issue is not with them as they work fine if the G25 is not plugged in at the same time.

I'm running Windows Vista Home

AMD Athlon 6000 DC Processor

Nvidia 8600 GT Graphics card

450 GB Harddrive (160 GB free)

3 Gig Ram (I think!)

I'd like to use the G25 online but need the mic/headphone combination for this so the sooner a fix can be identified for this the better please.

Cheers

Phil

Re: Extreme 3d Pro Joystick / USB 350 Headset Issues.

I had this problem - but with my speakers in general - any audio - simply becuase my onboard sound was picked up as usb on my pc. So i ended up purchasing a usb powered hub.  Worked a treat. If you can go and get one for anound £5 then get one. It is bound to fix it. It seems like the problem causes an overload on your USB power supply "ration". SO when another USB device is plugged in it overloads it - it disorts and goes nahhhh - dont like this hardware. So the external power fixes it =)

Hope this helps to you guys.

Many Thanks - Best Wishes and Good Luck

Rikki.
