Hi All,
I would like to know if it is possible to add a extension cable to my G25 shifter? I believe that they are just serial connections, so could I just buy a serial extension cable?
Thanks

We do not recommend using any extension cables between the components in our devices, as this could cause damaging shifts in resistance of the wires. Also, there are some serial extension cables that actually have crossovers in the wire, which can cause voltage to run down the wrong lines. I believe we also use a plug with the pins arranged in a slightly different shape on these from a standard serial cable, which may cause a serial cable to not fit.
Regardless, we do not recommend doing this at all.
