Ive had several different mice over my CS career and have never had anything like this happen before. When i launch CS my diagonal movement with my mouse is totally off. It tracks very poorly and often times willnot respond to my diagonal movements. Straight left to right and up to down movement are as accurate as ever. These symptoms will stay with me even after i exit CS and am in windows...a restart is needed to bring it back to normal. Doesnt happen with any other game either. Please shout with any ideas of what might be causeing this..the G7 mouse is the best ive ever used so far and would hate to give it up over a stupid issue like this, Thx

Have you tried the G7 on other fps games as well?

I got the same problem with my G3.. when i go into a Game (CS is the worst) the mouse movements up, down, left and right works perfectly but when i want to move it in a very slow speed for acuracy in FPS games its like it cant move in a straith line from the top left corner to the lower right corner, like it want to go straight down insted.  Every other function works perfectly even if i go from the lower right corner to the top left one.. - Sorry for my bad english, and i was wondering if there was a firmware update for the G3 who might have a fix for this? it makes it almost impossible to play FPS games for me and i would rather not return the mouse.

At this point, there's no update for the G3's firmware. Since it happens on different games, there might be possibilities for the mouse to be defective. However, before we jump into that conclusion, try using the mouse on different surface such as a white piece of paper. For your information, the G3 uses laser technology which works best on a non reflective and bright surfaces. Also try using the G3 on different computers and see whether it makes any differences.
