Will this Mediaboard allow me to use a separate mouse from the built in touch-pad with the PS3? I'd like to start with the Mediaboard, but I'd like to have the option later on to use a mouse.

If i want to do web browsing I'll use my computer for that. I dont think the ps3 has firefox support yet.

Dgephri on this thread may be able to test if a second mouse can work as the same time as the Edge: diNovo Edge with PS3

hi. the ps3 supports a usb keyboard now. It does tell you in the instruction manual. A mouse would be great.
