This is a warning. The Logitech Cordless Precision controller for Playstation 3 will not work with the game Little Big Planet. I purchased this controller specifically to play this game with my girlfriend, who loves it. My other games are single player shooters and sports titles that my girlfriend understandably has zero interest in. So I made a $30 dollar purchase of this controller with specific intent, that intent being to play mulitplayer in Little Big Planet. Only that intent is not met. I have contacted Logitech and their customer service representative listened to my claims and before I could even finish, gave the typical corporate spiel of "not assuming liability". This is a slap in the face to any consumer. I asked to speak to her superior who claimed he was "at lunch", a dubious claim at best considering it was 3pm. I have seen similar lamentations of this issue on the forums at GameSpot, GameFAQ, Yahoo Answers, and many other places by people who bought this controller, as it is cheaper than the 1st party offering, specifically for this one game. And we are all out of luck in a terrible economy where 30 dollars means as much to us as 3000 dollars must be worth to Logitech. Meanwhile, they are laughing all the way to the bank while we are stuck with this thing that doesn't perform it's intended function. Do not purchase this controller, and if you have, brace yourself if you seek ANY satisfaction as a consumer because the proverbial door will be slammed in your face quite rudely.
If you read this and have the same problem or agree with the sentiment, please post on any forum you can as the administrators will likely delete this post, although there is no excessive "bashing" of Logitech and it is 100% true.
