Rumblepad™ 2 Vibration Feedback Gamepad vs Cordless Rumblepad™ 2

I'm wondering if anyone can give me any insight as to if these two controllers are any different in functionality. I'd like to pick up a Cordless Rumblepad 2 but I'm concerned about the weight of 2 AA batteries and the responsiveness of the controller due to it being cordless. Any owners of either of these controllers have any comments?

I use the Freedom 2.4 Joystick. It uses the same cordless technology as the Rumblepad. I don't notice any lag over the corded joysticks I have used.

I  just got the Freedom RF2.4 I like the Feel ... but i miss my Interceptor with three Hat Switches

I was thinking of getting a gamepad but dont think i will get a cheap lightweight pad

I have and stell working 6-7 years later the wingman Interceptor  but now i cant seem to get it working on the new x64 Bit Windows

I don't think any gameport device will work on Windows x64. I believe in Win x64 Microsoft dropped support for the gameport altogether.

BTW,

I used an Interceptor for a long time too. I wish Logitech would bring it back with a twist grip and a USB connector. I think I still have it out in my garage somewhere.
