What games actually does Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2 support the Force Feedback function?

[ Edited ]

Guys, is anyone can list out the PC games actually support Force feedback?
I pick up the cordless rumblepad 2 with latest driver, and test for force feedback with my games as below:

Winning Eleven 2008

Bionic Commando Rearmed

Assassin's Creed

LEGO Batman

Need for Speed™ ProStreet

Lost Planet Dx9

Devil MAy Cry 4

My spec:
Windows xp sp3

It turns out that only Need for Speed:smileytongue:S can support rumbling. I read that the offical Xbox 360 can support virbration with games for windows, how can Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2 couldn't? I was disappointed that only one single game on my hand can support the force feedback. IS that possible that I can play the games above with virbration? or I should get a xbox 360 controller?

Thanks

It depends on how those games are sending the rumble instructions. Specifically, if they are using HID or XInput to send the signals. For rumble to work on our gamepads, it requires the signal to be send over HID. I'll check and see if we have a PC version of those games that I can try gamepad rumble with.

What actually is HIDand XInput stand for?
For Lego Batman, I knew that the Pc version didn't support Rumbling.
But how about Devil MAy Cry 4 and PES 2008?
Waiting for your reply

I'll see if I can test that today.

HID- Human Interface Device. This is the USB standard that allows keyboards, mice, gamepads, etc to work without software. This is supported on Macs, Windows, Linux, and home consoles like PS2/PS3/Wii (To varying degrees) etc.

XInput- The new USB controller standard from Microsoft. Is supported on Windows XP SP1+, Vista, and Xbox 360. This is what's often used when moving 360 games to the PC. Games For Windows demands XInput support, but doesn't always demand full HID support. So, some Games For Windows may have flakey support for controllers that aren't built to Microsoft's new proprietary standard.

Hello, I recently bought a Rumblepad 2 PC version gamepad (not wireless cable edition) and it does not vibrate on Surf's Up game also. If you hit somewhere in Surf's Up game at Playstation2 it vibrates, but I do not understand why it does not vibrate on PC edition even vibration option enabled. I have no more experience about Rumblepad 2 or any other PC games.
