I wish I would have checked this forum before purchasing Logitech. Lesson learned. I bought my mom a Logitech wireless desktop from Amazon for Christmas. Submitted the rebate information in November. After eight weeks, I called the number on the rebate form. They only showed another rebate – different company, different product – and I was told to send everything back in to the Resubmission Department which I did the second week in February. I still haven’t received this check, and now that number has no way to get to a live person.

I should've reviewed this message board before I made my purchase of wireless keyboard/mouse. At this point, I am more upset with the fact that I spent the time and postage to submit all required materials as INSTRUCTED, only to receive a postcard rejecting the rebate due to "missing UPC". How convenient.
I spoke with a customer rep at the Resubmissions dept only to hear her repeat herself "policy is to have the original UPC... unfortunately we did not receive it", which of course made myself repeat that I did. A bit frustruated I asked to speak with a supervisor who repeated the same reasoning and that there're no exceptions to this policy and there's nothing he can do.
Well, unfortunately there's nothing I can do either. I do not have the original UPC to resubmit. Yes, you guessed it, I already sent it. I feel very much deceived and question Logitech's unethical business practice.
Then again, perhaps there is something I can do about this. Although I've been happy with the Logitech products, I can choose not to buy them any more, which I must say is quite sad. What else can I do? They leave me no choice. ![]()

I mailed in my rebate form to Logitech (El Paso, TX) on February 15, 2010, for a Webcam Pro 9000. ALL the information requested was submitted. I found out online that Logitech rejected my rebate because the ORIGINAL UPC code from the product package was not enclosed. IT WAS ENCLOSED! On March 24, 2010, I resubmitted the the rebate (Miami, FL) form with copies of everything that was submitted when I mailed in the first rebate form. Once again I was informed that I had to submit the ORIGINAL UPC code from the product package! Good gracious - there is ONLY ONE ORIGINAL UPC CODE! Of course, Logitech knows this and then insists that you send it to them even though you've already sent it. When I checked the status of my rebate on May 23, 2010, it said the exact same thing - MISSING UPC CODE! On May 25, 2010, once again I sent in copies of everything (El Paso, TX) I had submitted twice before! Needless to say, on June 7, 2010, I talked to a representative who actually ask me for the UPC Code number, punched it in and promptly told me I would receive a check in 4-6 weeks. I was totally shocked to say the least. I immediately tracked my rebate and the results were: Your rebate is valid and is scheduled for final processing. That was 6 weeks ago on the 19th of July 2010. The tracking results STILL say the exact same thing as they did on June 7, 2010! I will be calling Logitech tomorrow! By the way, the telephone number is:
1-877-755-3837. I have NEVER had such a difficult time getting a rebate in my life! Obviously this is standard for this particular company since this same complaint goes back 4 years! I have made up my mind that Logitech IS GOING TO PAY ME THE REBATE THAT I WAS PROMISED come hell or high water!

I received the same thing today. I sent the original UPC along with all of the required information for a logitech wireless mouse rebate. The post card says I was missing the UPC. WHAT A SCAM!!!! I have never run into this with any other product. This is an unacceptable business practice to randomly reject rebate claims. I guess the economy hit Logitech hard enough that they have to screw their customers on rebates. I will never submit a Logitech rebate again, and will probably stay away from their products in the future.
