• Key Customization Added to Phone Apps still needed for Tablets
• Ability to add additional commands at the beginning and end of an Activity

• Allow for a remote resembling the original for the Devices area instead of a List
• After Activity has been started the ability to change the Guide to other locally installed apps(like the Squeezebox app for a Squeezebox Activity or the Google GTV Remote For GTV Activity.
• Ability to keep screen on so that it does not sleep.  This could just be an iOS issue
• option to swap controller from right to left
• Be able to turn off the TV "guide" function when using other components.
• Option for a grid like Guide
• Ability to turn off guide
• Adjust Program guide resolution for slower internet connections so the images populate faster

We are starting to see a few Devices that when you either:

A. Just add that device or

B. Customize the at all you can noi longer sync the device 

If you find that you can sync after updating or adding a device please report this device directly to Logitech support so they can take a look at the profile for that device and get it corrected

If you are Having an issue that is network related see this Post that Archetype3791 created to see if it helps

If you are in the US and unable to download the app from the market please see this post that Archetype3791 created to see if it helps

There have been issues with certain router so if you have a second router lying around I would try to use that to see if you can sync

These are ports that some of Logitech's other devices use with Apps you can try to open them to see if they help

The most desired option for the Link is button customization please Kudo this post so Logitech can see how many people would like this option

So I finslly got my Link setup and the app working on my Android phone (thanks towboy).  All my devices are setup and I have created the basic activities.  Now for the wish list...

Where is my ability to add commands???  When my receiver comes on the CD player automatically comes on and plays.  I don't want that to watch TV.  On my 880 I just added a command to the activity to turn off the CD player.  I also had built several very custom activities with lots of commands and can't do those with the Link either.  So that's my wish....we need to be able to customize activities and add commands just like we have been able to do with our other Harmony remotes for YEARS.

First off, a huge thanks to towboy for his significant input to this forum and for setting up this thread!

One of the significant issues that I have had (when using the device with my Galaxy phone as I still haven't gotten it to work on the Dell Streak but alas I digress...) is that the device seems incapable of controlling a product that needs 2 buttons presses or a confirmation press to execute a command. Specifically, I have an older Optoma HD72 projector that requires the power off command to be confirmed before powering down the device. The power button is pressed once, then an onscreen prompt asks you to press to the power button again to turn the device off. With previous Harmony remotes, you are able to customize the control such that ir blasts the power off command twice with a dhort delay in between. This, however, does not seem possible with the link, at least as it is currently offered.

Since I haven't been able to get the app to run on my Streak, I haven't been able to do too much other testing but will certainly add any additional input to this thread in hopes that future updates to the device will resolve these shortcomings.

I absolutely love the concept and the ability to leverage the Harmony IR database from an Android (or iOS) device but the actual execution of the product falls significantly short of my expectations from Logitech. As has been mentioned several times on the board, it seems the product was rushed to market and is still not quite ready to be rolled out to consumers.

This option absolutley should be available but have you tried learning the Power off command and issueing both commands during the learn process.  It might be a workaround

Hey Towboy, thanks for the suggestion. I tried to learn the command from the original remote, still no dice. Tried a few times so now there are 4 power toggle commands for the device also... Can remedy that one by deleting the projector and adding it again. The problem is that the projector needs the same command, only pressed twice with a delay of at least 2-3ms between signals in order to confirm the command. The Link doesn't have an option to customize commands and when I teach it the command it merely learns the discrete code and transmits it only once.

Any other suggestions? Otherwise, I guess add it to the suggestion list...
