Harmony Remotes - Hardware

I have tried on 2 differnt Windows Vista 32bit, all updated drivers, SP, everthing. I can not get my remote to comunicate with the PC software. Any Idea?  The Program just sits there trying to find the more.  I disconect and reconnect and USB device not recognized..

just to make sure, you're installing the software BEFORE connecting the remote, right?

Software is installed, all setting are set in the program, all devices are set.. once I go to update reote. Windows Vista give me a USB device uknon and it will not update remote.

just to eliminate other possibilities...try a different USB port, make sure you're not going through a USB hub and if possible try another cable (it's a standard USB a to USB b 5 pin mini

well i finally got it to work.. I uninstalled and reinstaled the program like 5x still nothing..  I installed the old 7.3.0 version let it upgrade to 7.5.0 and it worked fine.. No idead why I oculd just go right from insalling 7.5.0. but I got it to work
