Harmony Remotes - Hardware

Has anyone else experienced this problem? The battery on my Harmony 1000 remote does not seem to be charging anymore. I've had this remote almost a year now and have updated to the latest firmware.

I have left the remote on its charger overnight and throughout the day and the remote still gives me a low battery message. I have taken the battery out and rebooted the remote. I have cleaned the contacts on both the charger and the battery.

Does anyone know how I can test if it's the battery or the remote or the charger?

Hi,

When you place the remote on the charger, do you see a blue light on the charger?

Remove the battery and check to see if any of the pins are bent in the battery compartment preventing the pins from making proper contact with the battery.
