Re: Harmony 1000 stops working, needs reboot

No, but one day we will all wake up to find Logitech has been sold and you can then forget the forgettable firmware and software updates entirely. What was a fine company has turned into this spiral downward. It reminds me much of the Retrospect/Dantz software company on the Mac side: one day on top, next version on the bottom, and then sold.

I have a Logitech Nu-looq Navigator that has been plagued by software "downgrades"; this shows me there is a systemic problem at Logitech.

I've decided to stop complaining and just gin and beer it. But I will never buy a Logitech product ever again.

Sad but true. It's unfortunate that a product as nice as the Harmony 1000 has to be spoiled by such weak programming...........

[ Edited ]

I just bought one of these steaming piles of rubbish. It is doing everything that is mentioned in this thread. Crashing, freezing, not turn equipment on, even though it appears to work.

The only positive thing is that I paid 1/4 of the original list price. If I had paid full price for this, I would probably  cry myself to sleep each night.

It would appear that both the config program and the remote are poster children for 'form over function'

I wait for a fix, but I think I will have try and return the device and buy something decent.
