Re: Harmony 659 + Intec PS3 Infared Remote = Harmony and PS3 compatibility?

I got it working by programming in raw mode, however it doesn't work as nicely as the original remote.  For example, when you hold down the button on the original remote it very quickly scrolls through the options, whereas the harmony only moves over on item.  I tried the repeats and delay settings to no avail.  Does anyong have this working just as well as the original remote?

Hi Microryan,

Apparently the device was in our database but not entered correctly. Please try adding it as:
Manufacturer: Intec
Model: G7721

Re: Harmony 659 + Intec PS3 Infared Remote = Harmony and PS3 compatibility?

This works great with my Harmony 550 and Intec G7721 except, the screen/custom buttons for "Circle", "Square", Triangle  and "X" don't work at all.  Signal seems to be going to the PS3 but nothing happens.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Also, any update on getting "on/off" functionality or "PS button?

Thanks.

Re: Harmony 659 + Intec PS3 Infared Remote = Harmony and PS3 compatibility?

I have not had any luck on the symbols either. I just manoeuver to the off section of the PS3 interface and turn it off before pressing off on my remote. As for on, I press on to start up the projector and by the time I have a disc in (manually) everything else is ready.

Sorry that for now I couldn't be more help. I was waiting quite a while before we got where we are.
