Harmony Remotes - Programming

I'm new to the Harmony stuff, so please excuse the question if it's too basic

I'm trying to setup a Panasonic DMR-EH75V that is a DVD Recorder + VHS + HDD recorder.  When I added the device to my remote, it appears to set it up to play DVD's just fine, but how do I set it up to record to DVD, play/record VHS (probably not very often now days), and/or play or record from/to the Hard Disk?

Hi and welcome - your question is fine.

Haven't you included the device into an Activity?

If not then do so and let us know if it raises any questions.

If you have then go to the Activity's Customise Buttons section and assign the device's commands from the dropdown list to the buttons you require.

Yes, I added the device to the 'Watch a DVD' activity...now do I get it to

• record to dvd
• schedule a dvd recording
• watch/record/schedule a recording to VHS
• watch/record/schedule a recording to the HDD

OK - I would have expected the record button to be set already, but in any case go to Customise Buttons for the Activity as I suggested and allocate the commands you need to appropriate buttons.
