Harmony Remotes - Programming

I have a Roku HD-XR Netflix player, which is supported by the Harmony One and mostly works great.

The only problem that I have is that the Roku's own remote control allows one to hold down a directional button and scroll quickly through long lists. The Harmony One will display the "transmitting" icon on the screen while the button is held down, but it doesn't scroll at all. I think the Harmony One is sending repeated "left" or "right" commands rather than a continuous one, or the Roku has some specific requirement for the key delay.

Has anyone solved this problem? It is very irritating not to be able to scroll quickly through lots of items on screen, and even more irritating that Roku's cheap default remote can do this.
