Harmony Remotes - Programming

I can't figure out how to program a 550 to always route Volume+ and Volume- and Mute button presses to my AV Reciever regardless of what device is selected. I have done the wizards and told it that the volume is always controlled from the A/V Receiver, but when I chose to control a device it routes the volume control buttons to the selected device. 

Any advice?

Hi and welcome.

You need to set up Activities - that's what Harmonys are all about.

When you do so, for each one you'll be asked which device controls the volume - specify the receiver in each case.
