This has just started happening to me (on January 1st, 2010) after being able to successfully sync my two Harmony remotes all along. Any suggestions? I found this thread after a google search, and tried the web interface. It hangs as well, on the "Searching for Updated Information..." step.
Any suggestions?

same problem here. turned off all antivirus/all spyware stuff. plugged directly into dsl modem (bypassing router), and tried both 64bit windows 7 and 32 bit xp. any answer would be helpful.

It started working for me again out of the blue. I changed nothing about my setup.
Oh well, as long as it's working ![]()

I exited the program, removed the batteries from the remote for a few seconds, and started the program again. That seemed to fix it for me.
