Harmony Remotes - Programming

I have the Harmony remote for the XBox.  The devices are the TV, XBox, and a Sony sound bar receiver.  It works great to control watching TV or running the XBox.  However, I also have a computer hooked up to the TV, and one of my activities is to use the computer.  If I go to that activity, it switches the TV and sound to the correct inputs, but the remote then stops controlling the volume on the receiver.

I have gone through the troubleshooting, and all it wants is for me to teach the remote the sound commands.  The remote already knows them, it just won't do them while in that mode.  I currently switch to devices and change the sound from there.  Thanks for any help you can give.

Hi and welcome.

When you set up an Activity you are given the option of which device is to control the sound.

If you specified the correct device its commands should be on the appropriate buttons, but if they're not you can Customise them.

If you didn't specify the correct Device you could Review Settings and put it right, or set up the Activity again.
