Harmony Remotes - Programming

I am trying to add an HDMI Switch to my Harmony 1000 Remote. I have successfully added it as a Device Type of Tape Deck but I was wondering if there is a way to add it as a type "Other" or something like that. Because The remote thinks it's a Tape Deck it want to add commands that don't make sense.

The way to add a HDMI switch is to add it as a Amplifier/Audio/Video Switch

Taper Deck and Amplifier seem equally unlikely, but Amplifier is the right one!
