Please provide more detail on this hotkey.

A website describing this feature in windows 7 would be great.

An addendum;

fwiw, I've reverted to Pike's older "MCE Keyboard" device as it contains several critical windows keyboard commands that are not yet in the new SE definitions as noted in a previous post in this thread.

I will not be adding to many new commands to the Windows Media Center SE edition.

However I will be improving the MCE keyboard device with your keyboard :-)

Will keep you posted.

Re: Important Commands Missing

Hi,

on the subject "Special MCE" I'd like to tell you about my concern.

I am using a "Auvisio Vista MCE Remote Control". It is recognized by the LT database, but the DB does not really supply a language for it.
The remote comes with a IR-sensor, which is not compatible to Microsoft products. The IR-sensor together with the remote is working with YP via USB as HID. So the remote does also trigger key-presses, which sounds similar to what you write here.
The remote/sensor are the same as the following products:
- Ortek VRC-1100
- Hama MCE Remote Control
- Adesso ARC-1100

Though I know I could learn all commands to the harmony, it would be better to have them "really" in the database.
So I wonder, would it be of any help if I sent my remote and sensor to LT to have the proper language be implemented? Even if the way from Germany to Canada is quite a distance... :smileyhappy:

CU,
Mario

Will be in contact with you regarding your issue Mario.

This topic is for USB IR receivers that are compatible with the Official Microsoft Media Center IR language.

Please only reply to this topic if these codes function with your USB IR receiver.

If your device works please post the manufacture and model of your USB IR Receiver.

Your feedback is appreciated

Thanks... looking forward to it although it already has the following commands which I have found are the most important.

<START> (the "Windows Start" as opposed to the green "Media Start" button)
<ESCAPE> (critical for things such as youtube and hulu)

<TAB>
<Alt> (alone)
<PageUp> & <PageDn>
<Home> & <End>

>> SE device <<

Any possibility of getting <RightClick> added to the mouse actions?

The Right click is available for the MCE SE edition. If the language doesn't get to big I may add them also to the keyboard.

There is a "Teletext(Videotext)" command available. However, I could not get it working.

If I try CTRL+ALT+T on my keyboard it would popup the videotext for a TV channel as expected.

Unfortunately I would not have a web site/link on that feature, sorry.
