also like the recommendation of setting up the mouse to the "sound" or "picture" buttons. Why haven't these things been done to the device in the database or am I missing something? My most critical request is for the escape key.
Sound and Picture mode are specifically designed for TV and Receiver/Minisystem control.
They can't be programmed with mouse fucntions by default.

I successfully added the SE device to my activity for Watching TV and found the Music, Videos & Pictures can also be used on my XBox 360 Extender downstairs. Great News
Unfortuantely Movies only seems to work on my PC and not the XBox. Any ideas?
Also I wondered how you captured all the IR commands for the above menu's as I would like to see if Custom MCE Strips can be learnt?
Regards
Neil

The commands are captured from the Windows XP Media Center keyboard and are designed for any OS that comes equipped with Microsoft Windows Media Center.

Thanks for the reply. I did not realise the keyboards had the Music, Movies etc buttons so in that case it answers my last question of whether Custom Strips can be mapped, ie No.
I was very surprised to find the Music, Video & Pictures worked at all on my Xbox, which as I pointed out was great. I simply wondered if you had any idea why the Movies did not work, apologies for asking in this forum.
To confirm though it all worked on my PC fine, thanks for the Device.

I set this up on Windows 7 with an HP eHome infrared dongle using the Harmony One, but when I press any soft or hard button, nothing happens. The light on the dongle blinks when the button is pressed though as if something is happening.

I don't understand? If you map the mouselup/ldown to the volume control then how do you control the volume of your tv that is hooked up to the MCE?

Hello guys,
This thread is awesome and I hope very much that I could also set up my Harmony One in this matter.
I have a Sigma Tel USB IrDA Dongle and it seems that is working fine (windows reports "This device is working properly"). I have set up the Harmony One exactly as per the guide in this thread but it doesn't work. I tried under different application, including MC.
Am I missing something or my Ird receiver is not good for Harmony One? Please give some advice. Thank you.

Learn a couple commands with the original remote to the Windows Media Center Se device in your account and PM me your Login ID.
