Harmony Remotes - Programming

Hello ,

I cannot get my Harmony 525 to send the command to Sony Bravia KDL40D3500 to set the input channel to PCINPUT ( VGA )

I tried the INPUTPC command , but the tv doesnt respond to it.

Also tried the INPUTAV1 tot 9 channels , but none of them correspond to the VGA channel

On the original remote of Sony, ther is no way to directly set the input channel , you need to use INPUTnext commands .

Can anybody help me with this ?

Delete and re add you TV as model number KDL46XBR9 it has a full set of discrete commands.

I tried adding the KDL46XBR9 instead of the KDL40D3500 but still it doesnt work, when I send the PC input command to the TV it doenst respond to it .

Test all of the commands labeled Inputxx to see if any of the commands take you to the PC input.   Let us know the result.

I had the very same problem and it took me two weeks to solve it with the help of a tv nechanic, of course.
