OK! I am receiving my remote on Tuesday but I have been reading the instruction manual and couldn't find any posts regarding the following:
If I create a "Watch TV" Activity which turns on my Onkyo receiver, DVDO VP50Pro Video Processor, Dish Network PVR and Sony HDTV, is there a way to program the remote so that it will turn off everything except for the Dish Network DVR? With all of my individual remotes right now, I usually shut off everything individually except for the Dish Network VIP622 DVR, which is left ON 24 hours a day because I usually have it set to record programs at different times. If not, I assume that I would have to leave the Dish Network device out of the program chain. Sadly, that would mean I would not benefit from the really cool individual channel icons available for the remote! I hope someone more experienced than I has some suggestions!! ![]()

Dishnet receivers DO NOT have to be left on to record. Also if it does not setup with Discrete power on/off commands here is the way to set it up.
